The study monitored the effect of a single encapsulated dose of 150 mg of elevATP
™ or placebo on 18 healthy fasting subjects. Mitochondria are the primary energy generating organelles of the cell, producing Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) through a chain of enzyme complexes. During the process of aging, intracellular ATP decreases and the ability to generate ATP is diminished.
